There are over 150 islands and islets with an easy line-of-sight sailing ground that enjoys wonderful yachting conditions. Snorkeling and scuba diving within the Kornati sailing area is simply superb in what was named “the cleanest body of water in the world” by underwater legend Jacques Cousteau. Within the park you will find recreational fishing, scuba diving and hiking. The islands are great for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers who can keep an eye out for Eurasian eagle owls, peregrine falcons, kestrels, buzzards and shags.

The close distances between the 11 islands (only Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos, and Skiros are inhabited) means line-of-sight sailing and short, sightseeing hops. While the inhabited islands share a similar mountainous landscape, they all have their very own distinct personalities. All four islands have something to offer, whether you are looking for nightlife, quiet beaches, watersports, mountain walks, or just a hideaway from everything.
